PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional information detection device and three-dimensional information detection method capable of achieving both a range-finding range and resolution while securing the accuracy of simultaneous measurement to a moving object.SOLUTION: The three-dimensional information detection device relating to an embodiment includes illumination means for intermittently emitting light to an object, imaging means for receiving reflection light from the object and acquiring a plurality of images by performing imaging operations at different timings synchronized with light intermittent timings in the illumination means for a plurality of times, and arithmetic operation means for acquiring a distance image to the object by calculating a time delay of the reflection light from the objet by using the plurality of images acquired by the imaging means.
