PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to decrease a generation amount of thermal decomposition products that causes troubles such as blocking of filters and valves or the like of a gas pipe (for instance, gas conduit pipe) generated from the part of internal coating in the welding joining, and to solve the trouble.SOLUTION: There is provided a polyethylene-coated steel pipe that has a coating layer of polyethylene resin in an outer surface, and in the polyethylene-coated steel pipe, the inner surface has the coating film, and the coating film is a cured coating film of the coating that contains the alkyl silicate of 80 pts.wt. or more and 95 pts.wt. or less based on the coating solid content 100 pts.wt. Alternatively, the coating film is the cured coating film of the coating that contains the alkyl silicate of 5 pts.wt. or more and the metal powder of 30 pts.wt. or more having sacrificial protection action based on the coating solid content of 100 pts.wt. |
