PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent for alleviating side effects of a steroid drug containing a new active ingredient excellent in an effect for alleviating the side effects of the steroid drug.SOLUTION: A pine bark extract is used as an active ingredient of an agent for alleviating side effects of a steroid drug. The agent for alleviating side effects of the steroid drug is suitably used especially for alleviating a vascular injury caused by administration of a steroid drug.
