PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying and processing apparatus capable of efficiently performing predetermined processing such as drying processing for a sheet body.SOLUTION: A sheet conveying and processing apparatus 1 is an apparatus which includes: a belt B stretched over a driving roller 9 and a driven roller 6 and conveyed; and a drying unit 3 for applying drying processing to objects A to be dried conveyed by the belt B. Here, the sheet conveying and processing apparatus 1 is equipped with a sheet body washing machine 4 including: a washing liquid tank 20 which stores washing liquid T; a water passing drum 33 which rotates in the washing liquid T of the washing tank 20 and conveys the belt B from the driving roller 9 with a drum outer circumferential surface 33A having a number of water passing holes 52; and a rugged drum 32 which is arranged within the water passing drum 33 so as to rotate at higher speed than the water passing drum 33 and has such a rugged circumferential wall 32C that a recessed part 32A and a protruded part 32B are repeatedly formed in the circumferential direction. Thus, the belt B conveyed by the water passing drum 33 is washed by the washing liquid T which is made to flow in and out through the water passing holes 52 of the water passing drum 33 by relative rotation of the rugged drum 32. |
