PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of a gas turbine flare holding boundary more specifically, related to a power generation device in general.SOLUTION: A power plant control system monitors a flame holding boundary indicator such as a Damkohler number to determine the smallest amount of a quenching agent that can prevent flame holding in a predefined region of a gas turbine. In an embodiment, the amount of the quenching agent for use may be minimized to reduce operating costs while securing the safe operation of the gas turbine. |
