PURPOSE: A smartphone capable of matching a target frame using the mask technique for a background frame and a method thereof are provided to prevent the direction of a screen from being changed when a user changes the direction of a smartphone and to match the video to a video photographed by a camera even when the direction of smartphone is changed. CONSTITUTION: A frame image capture unit (100) captures frame images obtained by a camera. A video frame image capture unit (200) captures a video obtained by tracking. A pose change unit (400) obtains information about the direction and tilt of camera from a pose information acquisition unit (300) and processes the pose of the captured video. A video mask image generator (500) obtains a changed video frame capture screen to generate a mask image. A masking processor (600) masks a camera frame capture screen with the changed video frame capture screen. A video mergence and display unit (700) merges the masked frame capture screens.
