PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to prevent a difference from being generated in current to be supplied to an electric motor between before and after selecting feedforward control or feedback control, irrespective of temperature of the electric motor.SOLUTION: An electric power steering device includes: an F/B control part 40 for deciding a control command value for an electric motor on the basis of a target current for the electric motor set by a target current calculation part and an actual current detected by a motor current detecting part that detects the actual current of the electric motor; an F/F control part 50 for deciding a control command value for the electric motor on the basis of the target current set by the target current calculation part; and a switching part 45 for selecting a control command value of the electric motor decided by the F/F control part 50 or that decided by the F/B control part 40. The F/F control part 50 has a plurality of control maps for each temperature of the electric motor, and decides the control command value for the electric motor, on the basis of the control map selected in accordance with temperature of the electric motor. The control map stores the control command values for the electric motor corresponding to the target currents set by the target current calculation part. |
