<p>Preparing an anti-touch coating on a metallic surface, comprises (i) mixing a silane of (I), an alcohol including ethanol or propanol, water or nitric acid, and a second silane of (II) by stirring to obtain a reactive mixture, (ii) homogeneously applying the reactive mixture in a thickness of 1-50 mu m on the metallic surface, and (iii) solidifying by drying at 15-150[deg] C. Preparing an anti-touch coating on a metallic surface, comprises (i) mixing a silane of formula (Z 1>)Si(OR) 3) (I), an alcohol including ethanol or propanol, water or nitric acid, and a second silane of the formula (Z 2>)Si(OR) 3) (II) by stirring to obtain a reactive mixture, (ii) homogeneously applying the reactive mixture in a thickness of 1-50 mu m on the metallic surface, and (iii) solidifying by drying at 15-150[deg] C. Z 1>OR or 3-glycidyloxypropyl; Z 2>3-aminopropyl; and R : 1-6C alkyl. Independent claims are also included for: (1) the silicon-containing anti-touch coating, obtained by the above mentioned method, where the coating after solidification has a thickness of 0.6-30 mu m; and (2) an article comprising at least one metallic surface having the above mentioned anti-touch coating.</p> |
