PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a high-quality image without generating an abnormal image.SOLUTION: Sheet information on a sheet on which an image is to be formed is read from a sheet database 303 which stores sheet information including a plurality of sheet dependence conditions set in advance for each kind of the sheets on which images are to be formed. Sheet dependence condition registration means 306 registers and stores the sheet dependence conditions included in the read sheet information on sheet dependence condition storage means 305, as sheet dependence conditions for user setting sheets. Display means 304 of an operation panel displays the sheet dependence conditions. A part of or all the sheet dependence conditions are changed by operation means 307. The sheet dependence condition registration means 306 registers and stores the sheet dependence conditions for the changed user setting sheet on the sheet dependence condition storage means 305. An image is transferred to form the image on a sheet, on the basis of the sheet dependence conditions for sheet data on the user setting sheet stored in the sheet dependence condition storage means 305. |
