PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smart meter installed in an isolated area with a variety of services of an AMI system.SOLUTION: A communication device 100 includes a communication unit 103 and a security controller 104. Whenever work is started to the smart meter, the security controller 104 establishes a secure communication path to a first server for managing a key for communication security and a second server for providing services related to the smart meter, and performing mutual authentication with the first server through the secure communication path to obtain a first key from the first server, and further, relays mutual authentication with the first server through the secure communication path for the smart meter, and relays the acquisition of the second key from the first server. |
