PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce difficulty of listening in the case of reading aloud a displayed text by using a voice synthesis engine since the read-aloud voice is difficult to listen to when the read-aloud voice is different from reading predicted by a user.SOLUTION: When a set UI language is defined as the native language of a user, and this is not the same as the main language of a voice synthesis engine, the user is determined to be a non-native language speaker (S701, S702). When the user is a non-native language speaker, and a character included in a text is a first type of character which cannot be read aloud by the voice synthesis engine (S710), display is changed such that the character cannot stand out (S711). Also, when the character included in the text is a second type of character which affects easiness of listening (S706), the display is changed such that the character can stand out (S707). |
