PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether or not a verification device is set to have a verification function suitable for specifications of an electronic controller, in the verification device for verifying operation or the like of the electronic controller.SOLUTION: On a casing surface of an electronic controller 200 to be verified, an identification code 210 such as a bar code capable of identifying hardware specifications of the electronic controller is attached in advance. A verification device 100 reads the identification code 210 of the electronic controller 200 by a code reader 150, refers to a database of a DB server 130, and identifies a verification function suitable for the hardware specifications identified by the identification code 210. In addition, the verification device 100 identifies a verification function set by an operator or the like, in order to verify the electronic controller 200, and when these two verification functions are not consistent with each other, the verification device 100 prohibits execution of the verification of the electronic controller 200. |
