PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell module which restrains its light condensation function from deteriorating due to use so that it can exhibit an excellent light condensation function over a long period of time, and a photovoltaic power generation apparatus using the solar cell module.SOLUTION: A solar cell module 1 comprises: a light condensation member 2, provided with a phosphor 7 in a transparent base material 6, which absorbs external light by the phosphor 7 and propagates radiated light before being emitted from an end face 2c; and a solar cell element 3, installed on the end face 2c of the light condensation member 2, which generates electricity upon receiving light. The phosphor 7 of the light condensation member 2 has an increment range in relationship between its concentration and the luminous intensity obtained from the light condensation member 2 for reasons that the phosphor 7 emits light, in which range the luminous intensity becomes proportionately large as the concentration increases from zero. The concentration of the phosphor 7 in the transparent base material 6 is higher than a concentration at which the luminous intensity becomes maximum in the increment range. |
