PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of reducing a frequency of undershooting or a frequency of overshooting of a room temperature and suppressing increase in fuel cost.SOLUTION: A hot-air heater 1 which uses heat generated by burning wood pellets by an electric heater includes a room temperature sensor 40 for detecting a room temperature and a control device 50. The control device 50 calculates a room temperature changing gradient from the room temperature detected by the room temperature sensor 40 when stopping an operation, and on the basis of the calculated changing gradient, predicts time until the room temperature reaches a target preset temperature Ts as a prediction time Te. The control device 50 starts ignition control of the wood pellets by the electric heater when the prediction time Te becomes set time ts1 or less. |
