摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide module which couples optical elements, in which light receiving/emitting parts are integrated in a high density, to an optical waveguide with high optical coupling efficiency and which can achieve optical communication with high quality, and a highly reliable electronic apparatus including the optical waveguide module.SOLUTION: An optical waveguide module 10 includes an optical waveguide 1 having core parts 14 and side face clad parts 15 and mirrors 17, and light receiving/emitting elements 108 having light receiving/emitting parts 109. A refractive index distribution W of the optical waveguide 1 is a continuous distribution including a high refractive index region and a low refractive index region. A ratio of an average width of the core part for an average width of the side face clad part is 0.1-10. The refractive index distribution W is formed by partially irradiating, with a light, a layer composed of materials obtained by dispersing, in a polymer, monomer having a refractive index different from that of the polymer, and by unevenly distributing the monomer, and by causing a deviation of the refractive index in the layer. The positions of mirrors 17 provided on two adjacent core parts 14 are mutually shifted in a longitudinal direction of the core parts 14.
