PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly device of a seal member in which the seal member can be sophisticatedly mounted to a mounted member with a simple structure, and to provide an assembly method thereof.SOLUTION: In an assembly device 100, a seal member S is arranged and pressed between a mount member W and a first dummy member 10 for seal member mounting, and the seal member S is mounted to the mount member W. The first dummy member 10 has a hollow space 6 in communication with the outside through an opening 5. In the hollow space 6, a second dummy member 20 is fitted of which at least a part can freely project from the opening 5 of the hollow space 6. The at least part of the second dummy member 20 projects from the opening 5 of the first dummy member 10, and the seal member S is arranged at a corner 15 formed by the first dummy member 10 and the second dummy member 20. The at least part of the second dummy member 20 moves toward the hollow space 6 of the first dummy member 10 with the approach of the mount member W to the seal member S. |
