PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a code reader capable of selecting a proper bar code with less operations, a sales registration device and a program.SOLUTION: The code reader comprises: image taking-in means; information reading means; bar code selection means; and output means. The image taking-in means takes in an image picked up by imaging means. The information reading means reads information included in a bar code from an image of the bar code included in the image taken in by the image taking-in means. The bar code selection means selects a bar code given finally to a commodity from multiple bar codes on the basis of the image of the bar code or the information read by the information reading means when the multiple bar codes are overlapped in the image taken in by the image taking-in means. The output means outputs information read by the information reading means from the bar code selected by the bar code selection means. |
