PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a coaxial cable capable of fixation such that the coaxial cable can be fixed to the connector not only by soldering, but also by crimping.SOLUTION: A connector includes a metallic shell having an insertion part into which a connection member is inserted, a center signal terminal which is electrically connected to a center terminal of an opposite connector, and an insulator. The connection member includes an external conductor which electrically connects the shell and an external conductor of a coaxial cable to each other, and is formed by pressing plate-like metal, a center signal terminal which electrically connects the center signal terminal of the connector for the coaxial cable to a center conductor of the coaxial cable, and an insulator. An external conductor of the connection member has a crimp part for connecting the external conductor of the coaxial cable, and the center signal terminal of the connection member has a crimp part for connecting the center conductor of the coaxial cable and a crimp part for fixing a jacket of the coaxial cable on the opposite side from a connection side for the opposite connector. |
