PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for recycling an edible oil, with which the edible oil can excellently be recycled without spending cost and with a simple apparatus.SOLUTION: This method has: a drying step s1 of drying okara 12 discharged in a tofu producing step in a prescribed container body 14; and an oil pouring step s2 of pouring a used edible oil 30 into the container 14 by installing a mesh member 18 with such fineness that okara 12 does not pass therethrough in the container body 14, and putting the dried okara 12 on the mesh member 18, and includes: a filtrating step s3 of making the edible oil 30 pass through the okara 12 and the mesh member 18, and making the edible oil 30 flow from a penetrating hole 14a formed in the container 14 to the downstream side; and a cooling step s4 of cooling the filtrated edible oil 30. |
