<p>The local transport system (1) has a transport level (TE0,TE1,TE2), which is elevated, where the transport units are provided in the transport level for transporting persons (P) and objects in transport vehicles (TF) between transport nodes (2-1,2-2,2-3,TK-1,TK-2,TK-3). The transport nodes have conveying devices (3) that convey the transport vehicle to the elevated transport level, if an access authorization detection device (4) detects that the respective transport vehicle has access authorization necessary for the access to the respective elevated transport level.
