PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display array substrate and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent damage to a peripheral part due to a laser by forming a cutting part on a shield line overlapped with a data line. CONSTITUTION: A data line (107) defines pixel regions. A thin film transistor is formed in the intersection part of the data line and a gate line. A pixel electrode (123) is connected to the thin film transistor. A common electrode (135) faces the pixel electrode to form an electric field. The common electrode includes a shield line (136) overlapped with the data line.
