An image forming apparatus (1) has an image forming section (30), a casing (10), a wall section (12), a first unit (600), a second unit (330) and a first regulating member (702). The casing (10) has an internal space in which the image forming section is disposed. The first unit (600) is mounted in a first position (S1) of the internal space. The first insertion path (F1) is a path through which the first unit (600) passes in the internal space. The second unit (330) is mounted in a second position (S2) of the internal space closer to the wall section (12) than the first position (S1) is. The second insertion (F2) path is a path through which the second unit (330) passes in the internal space. The first regulating member (702) projects to the second insertion path (F2) when the first unit (600) is not mounted in the first position and retracts from the second insertion path (F2) when the first unit (600) is mounted in the first position (S1). |
