PURPOSE: An oil cooling system for a centrifugal refrigerating machine is provided to control oil supplying temperatures to a turbo compressor by controlling the flow rate of refrigerant or oil supplied to an oil cooler using a valve, an oil bypass passage, a refrigerant bypass passage, and a three-way valve and corresponding to the heating load variation of the oil. CONSTITUTION: An oil cooling system for a centrifugal refrigerating machine comprises an oil tank (110), an oil pump (120), an oil cooler (130), an oil filter (140), and a turbo compressor (150) to allow to oil to circulate through an oil passage (101). A condenser (160), the oil cooler, and an evaporator (170) allow refrigerant to circulate through a refrigerant passage (105). Oil is cooled by exchanging heat with refrigerant in the oil cooler after being lubricated and cooled in the turbo compressor. The oil supplying temperatures to the turbo compressor are controlled by corresponding to the heating load variation of the oil which is lubricated and cooled in the turbo compressor.
