DISK SEALING DEVICE FOR BUTTERFLY VALVE

PURPOSE: A sealing device for a butterfly valve is provided to reduce the frictional force between a seat ring and a disk when the disk is rotated by deforming the seat ring using heat. CONSTITUTION: A sealing device for a butterfly valve is installed on the inner side of a valve body (10) of a butterfly valve and fills up the gap between a path (11) of the valve body and a disk (20) for opening and closing the path. The sealing device comprises a seat ring (40) and a heating unit (50). The seat ring is stuck to the outer surface of the disk at room temperatures and is separated from the outer surface of the disk when heat is applied to the seat ring. The heating unit is installed inside of the valve body and transfers heat to the seat ring to deform the seat ring.
