PURPOSE: A water treatment device effectively performs successive denitrification and dephosphorization and makes easy denitrification and dephosphorization possible. CONSTITUTION: A water treatment device (1) has a total mixed reaction bath of downflow (10), a total mixed reaction bath of upflow (20), an upflow guide bath (30) and an aeration tank (40). In the total mixed reaction bath of downflow, water to be treated inflows in the total mixed reaction bath of downflow, a downflow by gravity is generated to stir the water to be treated, and a phosphorus release reaction of microorganism occurs in the anaerobic condition. In the total mixed reaction bath of upflow, a denitrification reaction occurs by denitrifiered microorganism in the anoxic condition. The upflow guide bath transfers liquid in the lower part of the total mixed reaction bath of downflow upwards, passes the liquid through the upper part of the total mixed reaction bath of upflow, and discharges the liquid in the lower part to induce an upflow. The total mixed reaction bath of upflow has an outlet (290) leaking the fluid inside the reaction bath to the aeration tank. |
