<p>PURPOSE: A tidal power generation apparatus is provided to have low production costs because a water wheel is rotated in a specific direction against the directions of flood and ebb tide by simple guide plates. CONSTITUTION: A tidal power generation apparatus comprises a pipeline (10), a water wheel (20), a first guide plate (50), and a second guide plate (60). The water wheel is rotated by water flowing in the pipeline. The first guide plate rotates on a first hinge shaft (51) installed at the center of the width of the pipeline When the water flows in a specific direction, the rotating first guide plate is stopped by being contacted to one side wall of the pipeline. When the water flows in the opposite direction, the rotating first guide plate is stopped by a first stop bar installed closer to the end of the pipeline than the first hinge shaft. The second guide plate rotates on a second hinge shaft installed symmetric to the first hinge shaft on a rotary shaft of the water wheel. When the water flows in the opposite direction, the rotating second guide plate is stopped by being contacted to the other side wall of the pipeline. When the water flows in the specific direction, the rotating second guide plate is stopped by a second stop bar installed closer to the other end of the pipeline than the second hinge shaft.</p> |
