Apparatus (1) for producing a curved preform (8), comprises a shearing device (2), which rotates at least two roller bodies arranged at a distance from each other in a rolling direction; and a control device (6) associated with the roller bodies. The preform at least partially comprises a fiber composite component with component geometry, and is made of a flat semi-finished fiber (7). The control device is adapted for adjusting mutually different rotational speeds of the roller bodies. The rolling bodies are adapted to frictionally carry the semi-finished fiber introduced in the device. Apparatus (1) for producing a curved preform (8), comprises a pre-exchanger device (2), which rotates at least two roller bodies arranged at a distance from each other in a rolling direction; and a control device (6) associated with the roller bodies. The preform at least partially comprises a fiber composite component with component geometry, and is made of a flat semi-finished fiber (7). The control device is adapted for adjusting mutually different rotational speeds of the roller bodies. The rolling bodies are adapted to frictionally carry the semi-finished fiber introduced in the device. The rolling bodies interact with the semi-finished fiber such that a rotational speed difference adjusted by the control device, affects a shearing of the fibers of the fiber semi-finished product to form the curvature of the curved preform to be produced. An independent claim is also included for producing a curved preform, comprising (a) providing a device with the shearing device, (b) introducing the flat semi-finished fiber into the shearing device such that the flat semi-finished fiber frictionally rests at the roller bodies, and (c) adjusting the rotational speed of each roller body such that the shearing of the fibers of the fiber semi-finished product is affected to form the curvature of the curved preform to be produced. |
