<p>The invention relates to an exhaust gas muffler arrangement (1) for an internal combustion engine, in particular a generator, comprising a pre-muffler (VSD) and a post-muffler (NSD). In order to achieve a compact design with a high sound-damping capability, the pre-muffler (VSD) and the post-muffler (NSD) are arranged in a common housing (2), said pre-muffler (VSD) lying in a first chamber (3) and the post-muffler (NSD) lying in a second chamber (4) of the housing (2).
