The drill bit (1) has a cylindrical drill bit body (2) comprises an outer spiral coil (8) on an outer surface for removing dust during a drilling operation. The spiral coil is made of hard material particles (9) e.g. tungsten carbide particles. A connection device is provided on the outer surface of the body for firmly bonding the particles with the body. The spiral coil is designed as a wavy spiral coil. The particles are soldered, bonded and connected with each other by a cold metal transfer process. The particles are arranged in form of gumption tooth (6) on a surface of the body. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a drill bit for rotating and/or rotary percussive drilling of a rock or a concrete. |
