PURPOSE: Pruning shears for fruit trees are provided to enable a user to grip fruits by one hand for protecting while cutting branches and harvesting the fruits. CONSTITUTION: A shearing piece (16) includes a blade (12) on one width direction side forming an acute angle, and a hook (14) on one longitudinal direction side. A finger fixing unit is located on the other width direction side of the shearing piece. A main point (18) fixes two shearing pieces around the hook. A thimble is fixed to the other width direction side of the shearing piece for covering the tip of a finger. A band (22) fixed to the other width direction side of the shearing piece for surrounding the circumference of the finger. A ring is partially fixed to the other width direction of the shearing piece for passing through the fingers. The shearing piece includes a protrusion (26). A groove (G) with the depth from one to the other side between the two shearing pieces is formed. |
