PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor module buried inside a tire wheel assembly before a vulcanization process, while reducing furthermore a failure generation probability, even when being installed inside the tire wheel assembly filled with gas having a high humidity and a high pressure by injection of an exclusive coolant or the like, and to provide the tire wheel assembly including the sensor module. SOLUTION: This sensor module 100 includes: a pressure sensor for detecting an internal pressure; a receiving antenna 18 for receiving a radio signal; a transmitting antenna 44 for transmitting a radio signal; and a case body 10 connected to the receiving antenna 18, the transmitting antenna 44 and the pressure sensor, for storing an electronic circuit part constituting the sensor module 100. The pressure sensor includes a strain gage for detecting strain of the case body 10 by a change of an electric resistance, and the strain gage is stuck onto an inner wall of the case body 10, and the case body 10 is formed of a nonmetal inorganic material which is an inorganic material of a nonmetal.
