PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous adhesive composition free from organic solvents, having a wide working width and excellent initial bond strength and thermal creep resistance after curing and especially useful for the production of a lapping decorative material. SOLUTION: The aqueous adhesive composition contains a synthetic rubber latex, a urethane resin emulsion and an acrylic resin emulsion.
