PURPOSE: A valve body and a capacity control valve for a variable capacity compressor with the same are provided to reduce initial supply hours for refrigerant by allowing oil in the surge chamber of a compressor to rapidly flow in the axial direction of an upper rod. CONSTITUTION: A valve body includes an auxiliary working core guide unit (1114). The auxiliary working core guide unit is connected to a surge chamber on the axial center in which the auxiliary working core guide unit is joined to a connection ring (1361) in the axial direction. The auxiliary working core guide unit is formed to be shorter than the outer circumference of a connection ring joint (1112) in a side in which the auxiliary working core guide unit is joined to the connection ring in the axial direction. The auxiliary working core guide unit is formed with a first through-hole (1115) in the perpendicular direction of the axial direction to be connected to a second through-hole (1113) formed to be perpendicular to the axial direction of the connection ring joint.
