PURPOSE: An energy management apparatus is provided to directly calculate a power charge in a user terminal based on information on the used amount of energy equipment and a tariff system. CONSTITUTION: An energy management apparatus comprises a first communication part (51), a second communication part (52), a power charge calculating part (53), and a display part (55). The first communication part receives a charge packet including information on a tariff system from a central server. The second communication part receives information on the used energy amount of energy equipment from a smart meter. The power charge calculating part calculates energy price based on the information on the tariff system and the used energy amount. The display part displays the information on the tariff system, the used energy amount, and the calculated energy price on a screen. The charge packet is composed of a master packet including information on the kinds of the tariff system; and a lower packet including information on the specific price of each kind of the tariff system.
