PURPOSE: A collision preventing apparatus for a flying vehicle and a method thereof reduces the probability of a flying vehicle collision. CONSTITUTION: The collision preventing apparatus(100) comprises a region setting unit(210), a moving speed changing unit(220), and a control interception unit(230). A region setting unit sets a control limited region for preventing the collision based on the information of a flying vehicle and environment. A moving speed changing unit changes the moving speed of the flying vehicle in case of the flying vehicle entering into a control limited region is moving to a direction which has a probability of collision. In the case of the flying vehicle enters into a control limited region and if a remote control device transmits a control signal which moves the flying vehicle to an object, a control interception unit can intercept the control signal.
