<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball capable of exerting excellence in repulsion, feeling of hitting the ball and durability at the same time. <P>SOLUTION: The multi-piece solid golf ball includes: a core formed of base rubber as a main material; a middle layer for covering the core; and a cover for covering the middle layer and having a plurality of dimples on the outer surface, and appropriately has the followings: a Shore D-scale hardness difference between the cover and the middle layer; an initial-velocity difference between the core and the ball; (a deflection hardness of a ball body with the core covered with the middle layer)/(a deflection hardness of the core); a total thickness (mm) of the middle layer and the cover; (a deflection hardness of the golf ball)/(a deflection hardness of the ball body with the core covered with the middle layer); a specific gravity of the core and that of the middle layer; and a Shore D-scale hardness difference between the surface and center of the core. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
