PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a segment acceptance management system capable of managing a segment to be put in stock and a segment to be ordered efficiently and properly by letting the results of acceptance test when an improper segment is mixed into segments reflect in this management system. SOLUTION: This segment acceptance management system 10 for managing acceptance of many segments used in shield construction work is constituted by a computer 12 connected with this system through a communication network 11 and a portable terminal unit 13 having a photographing function and electronic mail receiving and transmitting functions. The computer 12 includes a suitable segment data storage part 14 for storing data of segments to be sent from the portable terminal unit 13 together with photo data and be suitable for use, an unsuitable segment data storage part 15 for storing data of segments being unsuitable for use, and a segment data after correction storage part 16 for storing data after correction of the unsuitable segment.
