The drive (1) has a drive unit (5) for moving the wing against a fixed blind frame (3) by a drive element (6). The drive unit is fixed to the wing or the blind frame by a holder. An end cap is designed to be arranged in a housing of the drive unit on the front side in a direction. The end cap is fixed in the housing by the engagement of a closure plate in a recess in the housing in another direction perpendicular to the former direction. A bar is arranged on the end cap, on which a threaded pin is supported. An independent claim is included for a method for mounting an end cap on a drive unit of a drive for a wing of a window. |
