Drug eluting stent of graft copolymers composed of poly(3-hydroxyoctanoate) and biodegradable polymer

摘要

PURPOSE: A non-vascular drug-eluting stent using a drug carrier is provided to topically control drug release and to prevent restenosis. CONSTITUTION: A drug carrier by graft copolymer synthesis of polyhydroxyoctanoate and biodegradable polymers is prepared by supporting hydrophobic drug to a graft copolymer formed by graft copolymerization of poly(3-hydroxyoctanoate)(PHO) to biodegradable polyester or polyether. The polymers are poly(DL-lactide-co-glyucolide)(PLGA). The hydrophobic is paclitaxel.
