PURPOSE: A capture data provision method and a mobile terminal therefor are provided to supply capture data by detecting a gesture of a user. CONSTITUTION: A sensing unit (110) detects a capture panel request gesture which is inputted by a user. A display unit (150) displays the entire part of a capture panel, which is being partially displayed at one side of a screen or hidden, in response to the capture panel request gesture. A control unit (180) controls the sensing unit and the display unit. The capture panel indicates a capture data list including an image and metadata corresponding to a content captured by a mobile terminal.
