PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for receiving digital data through an analog interface are provided to receive or transmit the digital data between terminals. CONSTITUTION: A receiving device comprises a codec part (150), a control part (160), and a storage part (140). The codec part converts and outputs first analog signals to a first digital signal stream. The control part converts the first digital signal stream to a second digital signal stream to restore digital data. The storage part stores the restored digital data.
