NOVEL EXPRESSION CASSETTES FOR ADRENOMEDULLIN GENE HARBORING INTRON 1 AND PROCESS FOR PREPARING THE ADRENOMEDULLIN USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A novel adrenomedullin expression gene containing intron 1 is provided to produce a large amount of adrenomedullin and to treat patients with vascular diseases, who demands adrenomedullin. CONSTITUTION: An adrenomedullin expression gene has intron 1 inserted between exon 1 and exon 2 of adrenomedullin gene. The expression gene has a base sequence of sequence number 16. A method for manufacturing an agent for preventing and treating vascular diseases comprises the steps of: culturing a transformant and producing adrenomedullin; and manufacturing an agent for treating vascular diseases, containing the produced adrenomedullin.
