PURPOSE: An ultrasonic probe capable of improving the diagnosis accuracy and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to transmit the ultrasound reliably to a conformal layer through a piezoelectric element, by filling a kerf after laminating a ground layer onto the piezoelectric element. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic probe manufacturing method is comprised of the followings: a piezoelectric element formation step (S100) which separates the piezoelectric element after laminating the piezoelectric element on a printed circuit board; a ground layer formation step (S200) which fills the kerf into a space between the channel separated piezoelectric element after laminating a ground layer on the piezoelectric element; and a conformal layer formation step (S300) which forms the conformal layer on the ground layer.
