PURPOSE: An electronic financial system using hardware in a smart terminal and an operating method thereof are provided to comprise a main security function in the form of hardware in electronic financial transaction for reducing costs and simplifying developing and manufacturing in the framework of the operating and managing an electronic financial service. CONSTITUTION: An electronic financial server (100) generates and transmits financial data. A trusted execution environment (TEE) management server (400) provides a financial security module to the terminal (500) of a user. A relaying server (200) relays a finance certificate. The terminal installs a finance application provided through an application store (600) and comprises a general operating system (OS) executing the financial application and a security OS processing user security certificate. The terminal executes the financial application in a security state.
