SPEAKER MODULE AND PORTABLE TERMINAL HAVING DUCT

PURPOSE: A speaker module for a portable device and the portable device having a duct radiation structure are provided to increase the area of an aperture, thereby improving an acoustic performance. CONSTITUTION: A speaker module (200) for a portable device includes a body (210), a duct (220), a protective base (230), and a speaker (240). The speaker outputs an acoustic signal. The body has the speaker. The duct is connected to the body, and forms a radiation path for the acoustic signal from the speaker. The protective base for preventing the inflow of foreign matters is attached to the aperture of the duct. The aperture has an area over the area of a virtual aperture which is formed to be perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the duct.
