PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire with an improved hydro planning performance is provided to reinforce groove crack rigidity and the hydro planning performance of a tire. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire with an improved hydro planning performance comprises U-shaped protrusions(4), and the U-shaped protrusions are arranged at regular intervals on the bottom surface(2a) and the side surface(2b) of a vertical groove(2). A bottom protrusion(4a) and a side protrusion(4b) are successively connected to form U-shaped protrusions. The bottom protrusion is connected to the bottom surface of the vertical groove, and the side protrusion is connected to both sides of the vertical groove. Heights of the bottom protrusions are successively arranged along a trajectory of a waveform shape. |
