PURPOSE: A location information providing method of a mobile terminal and a program recording medium are provided to supply a location based service without the leak of personal information and privacy invasion. CONSTITUTION: Whether or not a mobile terminal is located within predetermined distance from an arbitrary area is determined by using a location signal which is received in the mobile terminal(S200). When the mobile terminal is located within the predetermined distance from the arbitrary area, a concern degree for the arbitrary area is calculated(S202). The concern degree is transmitted to a device of a location based service provider(S204).
