PURPOSE: A rotatable MS module bankbook printer capable of handling a lateral bankbook and a vertical bankbook is provided to use one bankbook printer for both a lateral bankbook and a vertical bankbook. CONSTITUTION: A rotatable MS module bankbook printer includes a bankbook loading unit (10), a printing unit and an automatic page turning unit and a vertical bankbook moving unit. The bankbook loading unit includes an MS module (110) which inputs data to an MS of a bankbook or read data from an MS of a bankbook, a moving unit which moves an inserted bankbook and a bankbook recognition unit which determines whether the inserted bankbook is lateral or vertical. An MS module driving unit includes an MS module moving unit which moves the MS module laterally in order to record and read data in an MS of a lateral bankbook based on a result of the bankbook recognition unit and a rotating unit which rotates the MS module at 90 degrees in order to record and read data in an MS of a vertical bankbook. If a vertical bankbook is inserted, the vertical bankbook moving unit moves the vertical bankbook in order to make the MS of the vertical bankbook move on the MS module.
