<p>PURPOSE: An alternative brush holder is provided to prevent unnecessary pressure on a brush and stress on a shunt wire caused by damage to a shunt. CONSTITUTION: A brush holder assembly (10) includes a pair of brushes (30) which include a contact surface demarcating the height and width each and a shunt wire is laterally extended from each of the brushes in the width direction. The brush holder assembly (10) includes a housing which includes first and second brush chambers (12, 13), first and second cavities (14, 15) which demarcate the height of the first and second cavities respectively, and first and second slots (16, 17) which are interposed between the corresponding chamber and the corresponding cavity.</p> |
