PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer having high hole injection and transport ability when an organic layer in an organic electroluminescent element is formed by a wet film formation method; a composition for an organic electroluminescent element including the polymer; an organic electroluminescent element with low drive voltage, and a high quality organic EL display device and high quality organic EL lighting.SOLUTION: This polymer is obtained by polymerizing compounds 1-5 represented by formulas. A composition for an organic electroluminescent element including the polymer, an organic electroluminescent element with low drive voltage, a high quality organic EL display, and high quality organic EL lighting are also provided.
